Six

Six......as in six years of marriage. It is hard for me to believe on June 28 Tom and I celebrated our 6th anniversary. I am so much more in love with him now then six years ago but wow has time flown by. I am so blessed to be married to such a wonderful man. On a whim we decided to go to Charleston (for your Northern/Westerners that would be Ch-aaaaawl-stin). Tom and I were always spontaneous before having kids, so it was nice to just up and go.

These are pictures of the kids right before we left the hotel. They looks like angels and really acted that way the whole trip. As we were driving into town Tom's car registered 100 degrees and it was about 80% humidity. As you will see from the pictures we (as well as everyone around us) were dripping sweat. It gave us a huge appreciation for all the dresses, corsets and suits they had to wears in the 1700s with NO AIR CONDITIONING!

We took a carriage ride around the city. If I look worn out it is because I was! The girls did great until the end of the ride and then they were bored.

Tom and I decided to walk around the city, despite the heat and really enjoyed all the Revolutionary and Civil War history. Audrey was tuckered out before we even started. This is 5 mins into our walk. The rest are amazing mansions down by Rainbow Row and the water.
This is a sign to a church established 1682. What amazing history!

The entrance to the Park by the Ocean. I think they call this the Avenue, but I don't remember, it was a month ago!

This is a statue for the Defenders of Fort Moultrie June 28, 1776. (Revolutionary era) I thought it was cool that it happened to be our anniversary just 227 year earlier.
And of course Ella found a dog to chase in the park.
All in all it was a wonderful and memoriable anniversary. Tom, thank you so much for the last 6 years. I can't wait to see what the rest bring!!!
